4. Aids Bead Seating - When mounting and inflating new tires, the tire bead may not reach its optimum seat on the rim due to rusted steel rims, lack of lubrication during mounting, or difficult mounting of low-profile tires.
- In some cases, the GSP 9700 load roller produces enough force to seat the tire bead properly without road testing before balancing.
Solves Hidden Vibration Problems With OEM-Matching
The GSP 9700 OEM-Matching procedure duplicates the tire force variation measurement and rim runout low-spot matching method used exclusively by vehicle manufacturers to provide that "new car ride." The OEM-Matching procedure cancels tire force variation with rim runout. (This is not the same as balancer "matching" that merely minimizes weights required.) The GSP 9700 indicates if the assembly can be OEM-Matched or if the tire or rim is out of spec and needs to be replaced. Tires with marginal force variation can even be matched to other rims at a later date. (Exclusive Match Code feature) Easily Chosen Balancing Procedures Display shows weight types and placement selection.
- Standard balance using clip-on weights.
- Combination of clip-on and adhesive weights.
- Hidden adhesive weights only. Infinite positioning (no "best guess").
- Patch Balance: using weighted patches inside oversized off-road tire applications.
Automatic Double Dataset®Arms (See Illustration) Inner and Outer Dataset® Arms double as measuring tools for lateral and radial runout and speeds placement of clip-on or adhesive weights. Reduces possible errors by eliminating manual data entry. Simply move Dataset arms to "touch" any chosen position for instant and accurate entry of data. (See Illustration) Split Weight® Mode (See Illustration) Exclusive Split Weight® Mode feature splits the weight into two smaller weights providing the most accurate balance and reduced weight inventory. - No need to inventory large weights.
- Multiple choices in case required weight is out of stock.
- Avoid trim ring obstructions.
Servo Stop Wheel Positioning (patent pending)
Positions rim at Inner DATASET® Arm weight location for exact placement of adhesive weights.
Servo Stop Wheel Positioning constantly repositions wheel to seek desired weight location (TDC or BDC) and returns even if pushed away.
Quick-Thread™ Auto Clamping (patent pending) - With a double tap of the foot pedal the "intelligent" DC drive system activates motor-assisted wing nut spin on/off. Eliminates hand cranking of the wing nut to "take up" the unused spindle threads.
- Strongest wing nut in the industry is just as fast to use as less durable quick clamp designs.
